Refinement

Ever go through a period of refinement? The process of refinement is used to take out impurities (the bad stuff) in order to get to the good stuff.

Refinement uses high heat and extreme pressure. Once all the garbage is out, you are left with something pure and beautiful. We all want to skip to the beauty part. There's nothing fun about pressure and heat in life. Sometimes it's a difficult path. Sometimes getting rid of the things that hold us back from being precious gold, isn't all rainbows and unicorns.

What in your life do you need to cut or burn out? What holds you back from being all that you want to be? Do you desire beauty out of a mess? Maybe it's pride, jealousy, or envy... Or laziness, fear, or anger.

I don't know what it is that needs refinement in your life to become the precious metal you are meant to be, but are you willing to go through the process so that you are beautiful on the other side?

Those of you who are sola flower crafters - have you ever torn a piece apart over and over? Any brides redo their wooden wedding flowers one hundred times? Or maybe got out your shears and cut and reshaped? The process can be long, tedious, and difficult. But what are you left with? Beauty.

I don't know what it is that you need to rid yourself of today, but consider allowing refinement into your life, as hard as the process might be, in order to sparkle and shine like precious metal.
